Welcome to the last blog post of the 2015 year! Hold on to your hat, or scarf or face because we are going for a whirlwind adventure of information.
Hello Class of 2016! The time has arrived for a Youth Academy rite of passage, the senior winter retreat. After all the hard work you have put in to applying for colleges, SAT prep, taking SAT’s, AP courses, extra curricular activities and trying to navigate high school; you have earned your self this trip. Click the link below for all the information regarding the trip and while you are at it, check out some picture from last year’s trip at the end of this post.
December 17th from 5:00pm-6:15pm, we will be having our Youth Academy Holiday Party! Come out and enjoy some delicious food, snacks, games and socializing with some of the coolest folks this side of the Mississippi.
We are hosting a family movie night on starting at 6:30pm, right after the holiday party. Dynamy students get in for free! Friends and family will have to pay. Buy tickets for $3 per person or $5 per family, what does your ticket get you? It gets you entrance in to the movie night and a small bag of popcorn. Students will be selling concessions at the event. Our feature will be Home Alone.
Extended College Tour Parent Meeting
At 7:00pm, while Home Alone is showing in the Carriage House we will be in the small conference room hosting the ECT Parent Meeting. This meeting is so your parents can sign waivers and there will be a review of the code of conduct. If you plan on attending the ECT, please make sure your parents are present for this meeting.

I want to wrap up this blog post by asking you to think about support and what it means to support one another. This holiday season, reach out to a member of the Youth Academy family and check in with them. Think about what kind of support you need and don’t be shy to ask for that support.
The Staff at Dynamy want to wish you happy holidays and a safe, fun New Year!
